Dark Pit, known in Japan as Black Pit (ブラックピット), is a major character in Kid Icarus Uprising. Dark Pit is the dark persona of Pit (kid icarus) and his primary rival. He was created after Pit destroyed the Mirror of Truth. He is nicknamed "Pittoo" (in English releases), "Tip" (in some European releases), or "Burapi" (in Japanese releases) by Palutena and Pit.
